A Poem: Through Your Eyes

Dear Lord we seek you in the darkest of hours
Our feet stumble
Our eyes search for your face

We are weary from travel, our backs weak from our load
We need your hand
To guide us from this place

The path will ensnare us if we travel alone
Filled with doubt
It’s a path of lies, and shame

Only by your grace, and through your eyes
Do we see as you see..

Without blame
